Bulgarian pianist Ina Selvelieva holds currently the Sir John Fisher Foundation Junior Fellow – Repetiteur position at the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester, UK. She has performed as soloist with many orchestras and has appeared in numerous solo and chamber performances in Europe, South America, and the United States. She has served on the piano faculty at St. Olaf College, University of Wisconsin-Madison, and Southern Illinois University Carbondale, USA. During her academic teaching career she has been actively collaborating with faculty colleagues and guest artists throughout the world. Her work as a collaborative pianist has taken her to festivals and summer programs, such as the Aspen Music Festival (Colorado), American Institute of Musical Studies in Graz (Austria), and Interlochen Arts Camp (Michigan). Highlights of recent seasons include chamber music recitals with Burt Hara (Associate principal clarinet, Los Angeles Philharmonic), Mark Sparks (principal flute, St. Louis Symphony Orchestra), Kangho Lee (cello faculty, Korea National University of the Arts).
